THE BIG MATCH
DETAIL
With no sign of a cure to their season long travel sickness, Gills will be looking to accumulate as many points as possible from their three remaining home games in an effort to ensure League One survival
Meanwhile manager Mark Stimson has major concerns over his central defensive partnership of Darren Dennehy and Garry Richards who both suffered knocks at Millwall along with leading scorer Simeon Jackson.

Speaking to the Kent Messenger after their 4-0 drubbing at the New Den, Stimson (left) said, “We’ve got to get on with it and the players can’t feel sorry for themselves.
They need to come in on Monday fresh and looking forward to the challenge. At the end of the game when the players were walking off I told them to get their chins and their heads up.”
He continued, “Were we going to get anything there? The form book said we weren’t. Are we going to get anything on Tuesday at home? The form book says we will – now we have to go and maintain it.
Pressure on home games was last season. If we didn’t win by three or four we got booed. This season it’s not pressure, it’s a challenge and that’s what we’re in it for.”
Seagulls boss Gus Poyet is expected to recall on loan Derby midfielder Lee Hendrie to his starting line-up after he came off the subs bench to set up an equaliser for Tommy Elphick on Saturday.
Speaking to the Brighton Argus, Poyet commented, “That is what we were missing and probably Lee will have to play on Tuesday because we did practically everything right until the last touch, last cross, last shot, the last decision. When you have got someone of the quality of Lee Hendrie he can make things happen, so you will probably see him on the pitch quite often from now.”
Former Priestfield favourite Andrew Crofts returns to Priestfield for the first time since joining the Seagulls and will be wearing the skipper’s armband.

Simon King is making slower progress than first expected and will sadly not be back in contention this season. Darren Dennehy suffered a bang on the head against Millwall whereas Garry Richards (left) twisted his ankle and was taken to hospital to determine the extent of his injury. Simeon Jackson was hobbling with a bad dead leg towards the end of Saturday’s 4-0 reverse and will undergo a late fitness test along with Darren Dennehy.
Midfielder Curtis Weston was on nine bookings going into Saturdays match, so was omitted from the squad as a precaution with the cut-off for acquiring 10 bookings and a two match suspension having now expired.
