The offer was refused and Championship side Norwich City and their manager, Paul Lambert have gone away for a re-think.


Good consistent strikers are in short supply in any division and that is why Norwich has been tracking Simeon for some considerable time and that he is admired by Paul Lambert as someone who could do a useful job at Carrow Road.

This week GillsConnect learnt of the rumour that the Canadian Head Coach, Stephen Hart has said that two of his League Two players, Terry Dunfield of Shrewsbury and Simeon Jackson should be playing at a higher level. Click here for full story.


This comment has prompted speculation that Simeon could be on his way if the price was right for Gills Chairman Paul Scally.


In the past, and currently, there are a number of Clubs from higher divisions that have closely watched the situation at Priestfield with regard to Simeon although Norwich are the first to actually put in an offer.
